B.A. in Dance from DeSales University


Dina Marion is a New Jersey based dance instructor and choreographer.  She graduated from DeSales University in 2013 with a B.A. in Dance.  While at DeSales, Dina studied Ballet, Modern, Tap and Jazz, as well as Kinesiology, Dance Pedagogy, and Composition.  Throughout her time at DeSales, she had the honor of participating in the yearlong Sharing the Legacy: Alwin Nikolai Centennial.  She learned and performed the iconic piece, Tensile Involvement at DeSales as well as at Hunter College in NYC. Dina also performed pieces by D.C. based artist Christopher K. Morgan and Philadelphia based artist, Tara Madsen Robbins. Dina participated in the ACDFA Northeastern Conference, and performed in the College Partnership Program at Dance New Amsterdam. She was fortunate enough to have studied with professors and teachers who inspired her love for dance education.  Instructors such as Trinette Singleton (former Joffrey Ballet principal), Tara Madsen Robbins, Maurice Chestnut, Brea Cali are just some of the influential people in her professional life.  Since graduating, Dina has been teaching full-time, and feels grateful to have found a career that combines her passion for the art of dance and education.
